Idlemoor is operated by Uncooked Games (“Uncooked Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when players use Idlemoor, including the game client, website, Steam version, accounts, and related online services.

We collect information needed to operate Idlemoor as an online, account-based game. This may include:

- Steam-related information, such as Steam ID, Steam display name, and platform-related identifiers if Idlemoor uses Steam login, purchases, or account linking.

2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate Idlemoor, save player progress, provide account login and sessions, display public multiplayer features, investigate bugs, respond to support requests, enforce rules, prevent cheating or abuse, improve balance and performance, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Public and Shared Game Information
Idlemoor includes public or shared systems by design. Your username, rankings, marketplace listings, chat messages, trade activity, combat achievements, and other multiplayer-facing activity may be visible to other players. Do not post private personal information in chat or other public game areas.
4. Chat, Reports, and Moderation
Idlemoor may store chat messages, player reports, moderation logs, account activity, and IP-related abuse records to investigate misconduct, enforce game rules, reduce spam, prevent fraud, and protect the service. We may review these records when needed for moderation, security, support, or legal reasons.
5. Cookies, Sessions, and Local Storage
Idlemoor may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, or similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember settings, maintain game sessions, and protect accounts. If you disable these technologies, parts of the game may not work correctly.
6. Third-Party Services
Idlemoor may use third-party service providers for hosting, databases, analytics, crash reporting, security, email, payment processing, platform services, or other operational needs. If you access Idlemoor through Steam, Valve may process information according to its own privacy policy and Steam account terms. We do not control Valve’s privacy practices.
7. Payments
If Idlemoor uses Steam purchases or another payment system, payment processing is handled by the applicable platform or payment provider. We do not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as needed to operate Idlemoor, maintain player progress, provide support, enforce rules, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Server logs, security logs, chat logs, marketplace logs, and moderation records may be retained for a reasonable period as needed for abuse prevention, debugging, game integrity, and security. Backups may retain data for a limited time before being overwritten or deleted.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Idlemoor, when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights and safety of Uncooked Games, players, or others, to enforce game rules, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, sale, restructuring, or acquisition.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect player information. No online service is completely secure. Players are responsible for keeping login credentials safe and not sharing account access.
11. Children
Idlemoor is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Player Choices and Requests
You may contact Uncooked Games to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, anti-cheat, moderation, backup, or legitimate operational reasons.
13. International Players
Uncooked Games may process and store information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Idlemoor, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date will be updated. Continued use of Idlemoor after changes means the updated policy applies.
